M?hldorf has the biggest sandracing track in all of Europe. About two weeks ago, there was an international race day there. My dad went (I'm not really into bikes) and met the famous German racer, Karl Maier. I am not to familiar with his racing career, but he's won some kind of World Championship 4 times, and a German Championship 8 times!

So last Saturday, my father and I visited his BMW Motorcycle showroom in Neufinsing. The first thing you see when you enter the place are the hundreds of trophies he's won. Amazing. I even got to meet him and he told me he has more in his house!

I'm not into bikes, but some of them looked really cool. The most powerful bike here was a 1200K or KS with 176-179-hp. C&D would love it: 0-100 km/h in 2.9 seconds!

The showroom from outside...

Check out the trophies he's won. I had to stitch the pictures together. He has more trophies at home and in another part of his showroom!

Wimmer with the man himself, Karl Maier!

Antique BMW bike...

Looked hot!

Looked hotter! I have two videos of this bike below the pics.

More trophies!

Dirtbike racer, like the one he used in my town!

What's wrong with this picture?

Official site etc.

Hope you liked the pics!

Now you're talking my language. Nice showroom, although most of the BMW Mottorad ones look fairly similar.

The high powered bike you're talking about, the K1200S (gray bike, fourth photo down) is actually somewhat of a 'luxury' bike more than an outright sports bike. It has a very comfortable riding position. Lovely bike, I want one.

No shots of any R1150Rs...  :(  Maybe they didn't have any.

Nice bikes, my neighbor has a BMW motorcycle. Silver, I looks like the silver one in the 4th picture but not as bulgy. It probably isnt as sporty as that one. Great mechanical sound though, I love its exhaust note.

The K1200S is BMW's sportiest bike, but I prefer the K1200R (pretty much the same bike mechanically) since it's a naked bike--the most powerful naked bike in the world.  It's standing up right beside it.

He's extremely FIT for his age. I didn't detect an ounce of fat on the guy!

There are more pictures inside the Imagestation Album. I took pictures of nearly every bike in the place, but I didn't label them since I know nothing about BMW bikes or motorcycles in general.  ;)
