I'm amazed at the skill of these guys, but I have to admit, the squealing tires get in the way of the glorious exhaust notes.  Also, you're basically taking a machine that was designed to cut curves and blast thru chicanes, and now you're forcing it to plough all over the track whilst shredding tires.  From an elitist perspective, one might find such displays as vulgar.   I don't agree that it's vulgar, but I'm sure that's what some people feel.  I could watch a normal race for 2 hours, but I could never watch drifting for more than a few minutes.

I love to see cars drift. Of course this is not the fastest way to take a corner (except maybe in the Rallye sports), but it looks very nice.

BTW: That movie is taken from the carmagazine Motorvision (something like the british Top Gear. A magzine that tests cars.) and it was introduced as some kind of "the best moments of the past year" or something similar.
