Trailer Hitch Q.

Is there any way I can put a trailer hitch from another make of car on my Subaru?  It'd be much cheaper than paying $140 for one at U-Haul...

Yes...but no.  If you found the last trailer hitch on earth and needed to use it on your Subie, you could take it to a welding shop and make it fit.  That would probably run you an easy $100 and never be as good as the correct hitch.  So there's really no point,  unless you own a welding shop.

No junkyards in RI and southern MA have what I need.

Basically the answer I figured.  I'man idiot, had I thought about this two weeks ago I could have had a welder at work make it work for nothing.
