There was no 230SL for the R107 range. There was however a 280SL. 

Or, you could be confusing them with this:

Well he SAYS those are all "CAR" pictures. It's badged CARS ...so his dad doesn't find what's REALLY in there.

Very nice pics!  Those cars are beautiful.

Some real nice cars there.  We don't see any of the old classic German cars from 50+ years ago, so it's always nice too see.  Every one in the states has seen plenty of Model A's, Studebakers, etc, but old European rides are all but non-existant.  The 1920's BMW is amazing. The MB 170 is one classy ride!

(Boy, you sure have a lot of car events over there!)

I've noticed that amongst Europeans, the British and Germans seem to be the most car crazy folks followed by the Italians and then Eastern Europeans. And yes, we have a lot of classic car events here because we love cars so much. 

The great part is that M?hldorf, despite being a small provincial town, has tons of guys here who have oldtimers and regularly participate in oldtimer rally's.
