Judging by this poll, a lot of you guys would take a car based on looks?

Not on looks alone, but when I know both cars are solid performers, have comparable levels of quality, and are in the same general market, appearance is most definitely a deciding factor.

I don't think I'd seriously buying either of these cars considering there are, ahem, superior performance values out there, but between the two I voted for the Z4.

The Boxster S is a girl/sissy/fag car, IMHO.

If I was going to get one it would be in coupe form because I've done the convertible thing for 10+ years now and it gets old eventually. And I would get the Cayman S over the Z4 M. I'm a fan of the Z4 and would be very happy with one but I'll take my car just like my women and that's with less weight but nice curves. And I like the looks of the Porsche a little more.
