I found this on Break.com, and I would love to do it sometime.  Like I said, if you own a Cherokee you might not want to watch.  If not, this abuse looks amazingly fun.

I don't care about all that shit.  I'll be going to college to get an education at a cost to my parents.  I'm not going to fool around.

That's a great local brewery that we have. Do I drink their beer? No.

I've seen it before. My understanding is this took place in Europe somewhere, and this particular Jeep failed a Ministry of Transportation-type test and was essentially worthless as a result.

A testament to its durability: had this been something else it would have fallen to pieces. :praise:

It certainly took an extraordinary amount of abuse!

After you wake up with the sun at 6am on someone's floor, coughing up cigarette butts and tasting like warm beer, you may well change your opinion on this matter.

Ooh, that was nice! It got some awesome air and i'm suprised it came back for more.

Wrong body style ace.  His is a pre-1998 model, and it's red.  If you are going to poke fun, at least get the details right!

At least he doesn't drive a civic, ricer.

I'd have a Civic over an Intrepid anyways.

I always bought the off road R/C stuff, and kept mostly stock.  The monster trucks aren't terribly fast.

Yeah...
$400 would get me a super powerful motor, plus another $40 for a another battery (so i dont' have to save up any more on my own ) plus new gearing and diffs and an aluminum driveshaft (the plastic one would just twist apart).
Those things have incredible amounts of torque. Not many people do it though, it's pointless to go that fast. Can't really run it that fast anywhere, and while racing, you want to focus more on handling than flatout speed.

Wait a few years until you're on your own and then see how much sense dumping $400 into a toy makes, m'boy  :tounge:

It's fun.
But I never said i'd buy $400 worth of stuff for it. If i had $400 lying around, I'd buy a nitro version of the car i'm getting, or maybe a nitro monster truck.

If had $400 "lying around" I'd put it in my pocket and take it to the bank :P

Anyone want to place bets on whether a Liberty or new GC could do the same thing?

Yep, British Rednecks!
The UK plates and right-hand-drive give it away.

The Jeep looked to be in fairly good condition in the beginning.  I wonder what could have made it fail the annual MOT inspection?  Certainly, whatever it was, it could have been fixed and put right?
BTW, you see LOTS of Cherokees in the UK.  For a while in the 90's, it was the best-selling off-roader in Britain until the Land Rover Freelander came along.

It actually held together pretty well. Other than the rolling of it I'm sure that if they had put new tires on it it would have been perfectly driveable. That tire trick was pretty cool, what was that he sprayed?
