SVT666

This one wears the Gulf Racing colours, the number 99, and Wayne Gretzky's autograph (hence the #99).

What a view of the supercharger from the rearview mirror huh?

Raghavan

No, he looks like a 1oo% Mustang tr0ll.

giant_mtb

He looks just like you'd expect a Hemi dude to look.

Rich

So when are you going to be in the market for one?

On Monday.  I plan on winning the lottery tonight.

Rich

I can't fathom the taxes a Canadian would have to pay for that car

We would pay 6% in Alberta.  We don't have a gas guzzler tax here.

Catman

Still can't figure out the ugly seats in this car.

Nethead

HEMI666: HemiDude,  great pics!

Catman:  CatDude, those seats are patterned on those of the Ford GTs of 1964--those little circular dohickies are cooling vents for the seats--part of the ventilation system on those original Ford GTs, although they were rimmed in natural aluminum color in 1964 instead of in black as on the current Ford GT.  In natural aluminum, they looked like grommets.  In fact, they may have been grommets forty-three years ago.  Outside air was ducted through them to cool the drivers--the Nethead here does not know if that's also true in the current Ford GT--it may be air-conditioned air today.

Anyone who can afford one wouldn't care.

At least we don't pay tax on lotteries, which is the only way I'll ever get my hands on one...

Makes sense, thanks Nethead.

What does Wayne have to do with Ford? Is there a connection I'm unaware of?
As I write, highly civilized human beings are flying overhead, trying to kill me.

Depending on price, that could be a good deal.

Wayne Gretzky is the official spokesman for Ford in Canada.  Most of Ford's commercials have him in them, and the ones that don't have The Great One feature another Canadian son, Kiefer Sutherland doing the voice over (I believe he does the American commercials too).

Was this car at the NYIAS last year?  I seem to remember a similar car.  It's one of the best looking cars out there without a doubt.

I think the best color for the GT is the red with white stripes

There was a GT there that was black with silver stripes and that looked real sharp.

I'm just listning to the new federal budget, and there is an up to $4000 gas guzzler tax proposed for SUV's and vans, but pickups are excluded. I wonder where cars stand?

Well, I won't worry about it too much, becuase by the sounds of it, all 3 other parties will vote against it.

I think they'll be comitting political suicide if they vote it down, because most people are happy with the government as evidenced by the 65% approval rating Harper got in a recent poll.

$4000 gas guzzler tax?! Sounds like something an NDP, Bloc or Green government would do...

But you have neither of those types

He has a pickup..and I'm damn sure that would be classified under this. Plus, his Freestyle is an SUV..kinda.
