I'd be very interested, young Wimmer, as a fellow marketing student, to hear of any positions you may get in this field.

You guys will be the first to know.  :ohyeah:

Isn't is customary to test drive the car you're thinking of buying BEFORE you place an order?  Or, are things just done differently in Germany?

Yes, testdriving before is common over here too!

But then the buying experience is different from what you guys normally do. Cars over here are normally ordered and custom built, not taken from a dealerships inventory

I would never buy a car that has been testdriven by a bunch of wanna-be Schumis before I buy it. I (and that's the normal procedure over here) order my car exactly like it and then get it fresh from the factory. Then I break it in like I want to and it's not "raced" by some strangers before.

It is, but the new BMW 1-Series has gotten good reviews and we're going to order it and then testdrive it. I know it sounds crazy but my dad has done this plenty of times, especially with our ex-Japanese cars. He never testdrove them, simply placed an order. I don't think we'll dissapointed with the 1er. :ohyeah:
