The C5 looks so much better and is no slouch to drive.

Although, what would have been more interesting is ZR-1 vs. C5 Z06 vs. C6 Z06.

Easiest of the polls so far. 2007 C6, thanks

I have to say that's not the most flattering picture for the C5.

I figure this is a good comparsion pic,  press picture to press picture.

Sorry man.  I was using the only picture I could find that was relatively the same size.

Depending on price, that could be a good deal.

I don't care about all that shit.  I'll be going to college to get an education at a cost to my parents.  I'm not going to fool around.

Let's see. More power, better interior and good looks. C6 for me.
The only thing I miss are the pop-up headlamps.

Easy. C6 is beautiful and the Z06 is absolutely awesome. The old one was nice, but the new one is lightyears ahead.

C6.  Because a base C6 is faster than a C5 Z06

The new one looks less like a boat.  I definitely prefer it, it looks awesome IMO.

I voted C6, although the C5 was a revolutionary evolution of that vehicle and substantially better than the C4, where IMO the C6 is a gradual improvement on an American Icon that will always be on my "fave" list mostly regardless of year, (just can't do 74-81).

I love the C4 as well, the LT1/4 cars in particular.

After you wake up with the sun at 6am on someone's floor, coughing up cigarette butts and tasting like warm beer, you may well change your opinion on this matter.

Hard choice...I loved the C5. The C6's styling has grown on me alot since seeing it first, but I think it looks rather generically like a sportscar somehow. So C5 for me
"On a given day, a given circumstance, you think you have a limit. And you then go for this limit and you touch this limit, and you think, 'Okay, this is the limit'. And so you touch this limit, something happens and you suddenly can go a little bit further. With your mind power, your determination, your instinct, and the experience as well, you can fly very high." - Ayrton Senna

Secret Chimp

I can't stand the C5's styling, especially the front. Everybody was all "zomg no popup headlights" with the C6, but the already plain front end combined with no normal lights gave it about zero character.

The 2008 C6 has got a chance of beating the C5 Z06, but the current C6 runs about on par with 2001 Z06's but can't match 2002+ Z06's.  Despite similar rated HP, C6's dyno around the 330-340rwhp range while C5 Z06's dyno about 350-360rwhp.  In terms of the best 1/4 mile recorded by owners, the best C6 stands at around 12.2 in the quarter or so, while the best C5 Z06's have slipped in at around 11.8 or so.  Pretty much on average C5 Z06's run the quarter about .5 seconds faster through the quarter at about a couple of MPH's higher.
