I'm more a fan of the 300Z myself.

I don't care about all that shit.  I'll be going to college to get an education at a cost to my parents.  I'm not going to fool around.

She'll hate diesel passenger cars, all things Ford, and fiat currency.  They will masturbate to old interviews of Ayn Rand an youtube together.

The 300ZX was named by Automobile Magazine as one of the top 25 designs of all time.  I don't agree.

But I'd still take it.  2 seater, tout de'suite.

I agree. If they had to choose a Japanese car for that list I would have rather seen a FD RX-7 or NSX. But I'm still a fan of the 300Z.

300 ZX.

Though I do really like the 350 Z.

After you wake up with the sun at 6am on someone's floor, coughing up cigarette butts and tasting like warm beer, you may well change your opinion on this matter.

300ZX Turbo is my favorite Nissan.

280Z Turbo

300ZXTT, although I think I'd rather have a nice single turbo Z31 300ZX instead.

The engine bay of a Z32 is absolutely terrible. Every square inch is completely filled with engine.

I do. It was such a stunning design back in '89, and it still looks fresh and modern 18 years later.

I'm going to buy a tube radio so we can huddle round it and, by the light of a single candle, listen to President Obama's fireside chats.

They're both not very good looking, but I'd rather have the 300.

JYODER240

As a DD i'll take a 350Z. I picked the 300ZX, though. Amazing design. It's sleek, agressive, looks good from any angle, and still looks great 18years later.

The 300ZX Twin Turbo is the only one "300" cars that was worth owning or driving.  The standard 300ZX is a complete dog.

I voted 350Z.

MidnightDave

I'm surprised by the fan base for the 300. Other than the twin turbo, I think it had become bloated and middle aged--a lot like me! ;-)

My '77 280Z is still on my "regret I ever sold it" list, so maybe I'm just biased. The 350Z is a great bang for the buck car, so it gets my nod, in this vote and over a lot of other cars from Europe and Japan in the same 2+2 arena.

Well the 240Z is my favorite Z car ever. I prefer the looks of the 300Z over the 350 inside and out. I think they are both on the fat side and that's a flaw in all the Z's after the 260.

I agree that the 350Z weighs too much but here's something to think about; according to C&D the 997 C2s weighs 3290lbs. Not much less than a 350Z and you never hear anyone say it's too heavy.

Why, is the new one a lot more livable?

I'd assume its more relieble, has a warranty, and I think its more comfortable although that really doesn't bother me much. I'd love to drive a 300ZX TT some time, I've only ever ridden shotgun before.

Like a fine Detroit wine, this vehicle has aged to budgetary perfection...

FlatBlackCaddy

Ive made my decision.

The benefit of having a turbo is massive power from bolt ons, if you want to go fast(while keeping the original motor, no v-8 chris) a TT Z will get you moving.

850CSi

Tave

Neither. I'd take the 300 Turbo that looked like the older Z's.

Depending on price, that could be a good deal.

300Z: it looks better, is lighter, and is sometimes turboded.

The 350Z and the 300Z weigh about the same IIRC.
