Yeah, it's hard as a rock and there isn't much headroom.

Driver's seat is awesome though.

I found it too lumpy. But you can't argue a subjective like that.

It may not be the best interior out of the bunch, but it has the best engine!

The NA 3.8-liter?

... then why'd you count it against the Grand Prix?

Oh, the S/C was not included.  But I would say it's the best of the bunch.  The Duratec is close, but not as fun to drive.  By the way, just a typo, you have the Malibu's 3.5 listed as an I4.

In the automotive world slow is a very relative term.

A 3.5-liter I-4 would be awesome. What's the biggest I-4 made nowadays, 2.5 Nissan er sumthin?

Maybe the Colorado's 2.9.

You can't ignore something just because someone else might feel differently. But even if I'd loved the seats, it wouldn't have changed anything in the rankings.

I'd say the upgraded GM 3.5-liter is better than the 3.8, as is the Hyundai 3.3 (unless it fails to hold up well).

I'll fix the Malibu.

I think there is a practical limit for inline 4's.  Can't remember if the constraint is vibration or diminishing returns to scale regarding output vs. displacement.

I'm sure the vibration gets pretty horrible... which is why I'd rather have a 2.0L V-12!

Four cylinders should all be around 2 liters.

Personally, when I think of the Boxster's 3.4L H6, I think it's huge.  But boxers are different from V engines, so I probably can't compare them on the same scale.

There was a Caterham or Lotus with a 2.0L V8. I want one.
Or you could just stick two 1 liter superbike engines together and get a 2 liter V8. 350 + hp, ~ 180-200 lbs/ft torque, 12,000 RPM.
