A buddy of mine had a '46 DPW two truck and we could haul about anything with it! BTW, in '77 that was considered tricked out!

I'll bet that nobody that voted for the '46 would be able to drive it!

'46, followed closely by the '05.  If the '05 came with the Cummins, the decision would be harder.

My uncle is in the process of restoring an early Power Wagon.  I haven't been able to visit him in a few years, but last time I talked to him, it was running.

After you wake up with the sun at 6am on someone's floor, coughing up cigarette butts and tasting like warm beer, you may well change your opinion on this matter.

I have to go '77.

I had a '78!

The '05 is a total badass truck.

CMan

The '05 is majorly awesome.

I'm going to buy a tube radio so we can huddle round it and, by the light of a single candle, listen to President Obama's fireside chats.

I saw "Power Wagons" and I thought this was going to be RS2 vs. S4!

I voted '77, but I like this one better:

You'd lose that bet.

I doubt it has synchronized gears.

Does it even have power brakes or power steering?

No bias there!?
The '05 Power Wagon comes with automatic lockers and automatically disconnecting anti-roll bars.  You can control both right from the drivers seat.  It also comes with a Warn winch built into the bumper.  It is a kickass truck.

Oh, I know, I love 'em and if I needed a full size truck, the '05 Power Wagon would be the one I bought.  I just wish that it had been available with the Cummins motor.  It's a heavy unit though, something like 975 lbs. for a long block IIRC.

I could be wrong but I believe the 2005 Power Wagon was available with the Cummins, but now it's just the Hemi.  A 6 speed manual is avialable with it, but not in a 1500 with the Hemi.  I don't get it.  Oh well.  I would rather have a Hemi with an auto in a pickup anyway.

Ron From Regina

I had a 77 dodge pickup in high school (not a power wagon, just a 2wd) with a 360 V8. I did alot of crazy shit in that truck, so I picked the 77 for sentimental reasons only.

MidnightDave

Raza, I thought about putting a disclaimer: We all know the current 5 series wins, so why vote?
