B5.5. Looks good, comfortable, lovely drivetrain, enough room for me, and good value.

heelntoe

B5.5 for moi aswell, it looks good and has a nice engine to go with it.
i wouldn't mind the B1, B2 or B4 though.

I like the B5.5 and B6, but I voted B5.5 because the B6 is just too expensive.

I don't care about all that shit.  I'll be going to college to get an education at a cost to my parents.  I'm not going to fool around.

She'll hate diesel passenger cars, all things Ford, and fiat currency.  They will masturbate to old interviews of Ayn Rand an youtube together.

After you wake up with the sun at 6am on someone's floor, coughing up cigarette butts and tasting like warm beer, you may well change your opinion on this matter.

I'm going to buy a tube radio so we can huddle round it and, by the light of a single candle, listen to President Obama's fireside chats.

B5.5 by far.

I was very dissapointed with the B6 after spending a lot of time in a B5.5.

me too - I've done upwards of 5000 miles in three different B6s, and all of them have creaks and buzzy rattles somewhere in the interior trim.  the diesels seem a bit rough as well.
I'm not a great fan of any of them, but voted B5 as it really stood head and shoulders above the competition (mondeo, vectra) when it was introduced, to become the mainstream sales rep's car of choice.  The rest just haven't been particularly special.

sportyaccordy

B5, with the lower part painted...the B5.5 looks too fancy. And the B6 is huge, I'd rather get a Jetta.

nickdrinkwater

B6 for me.  Really nice car.  But then I'm biased, because my dad has one.

I like the B5 a lot too, my uncle has a paddle-shift TDI one and it's pretty smooth.

I love all Passats though.

pommes-t

B3 for me, please!

My dad once drove one. It has sooo much interior space and we had zero trouble with it.

I like the design of the B5 most and the B6 is the best car, but whatever!

Oh, and the B2 was only sold for a very short time as "Passat". The But the hatch and the Variant were sold as Passats all the time. This one is better known as the Santana. At least here...

B5.5.  But you wouldn't have guessed otherwise.

Although I do like the B6, I have yet to drive one.
