Personally I'll take the Caliber. I've extensively driven a Neon and a Shadow and they were the worst cars I've ever driven.

2004 Chrysler Intrepid R/T Clone - Titanium Graphite [3.5L V6 - 250hp]
1996 BMW 325i Convertible - Brilliant Black [2.5L I6 - 189hp]

Aries/Reliant FTW!

FYI, the Caliper pic ain't showin
2008 TUNDRA (Truck Ultra-wideband Never-say-die Daddy Rottweiler Awesome)

the Teuton

I'm not going to vote.  You're having me pick between two K Cars (we had one and it sucked), a first gen Neon (not that well-built, but a decent car), a second gen Neon (ditto, but it doesn't have power windows in the back?  WTF?), and an underpowered shoe box.  No thanks.
2. 1995 Saturn SL2 5-speed, 126,500 miles. 5,000 miles in two and a half months. That works out to 24,000 miles per year if I can keep up the pace.

I don't care about all that shit.  I'll be going to college to get an education at a cost to my parents.  I'm not going to fool around.

She'll hate diesel passenger cars, all things Ford, and fiat currency.  They will masturbate to old interviews of Ayn Rand an youtube together.

No advice can be worse than Coug's, in any thread, ever.

ifcar

I voted 1st-gen Neon. In its time, it was more competitive than the others.

Not a Mopar.? :nono:
Anything under the Chrysler umbrella is Mopar.

3.0L V6

2nd gen Neon. Decently reliable, decently fun.

If I had to pick a second one, a turbo 2.5 Shadow, just cause you boost the hell out of it.

Anything under the Chrysler umbrella is Mopar.

Cherokee wasn't designed under the 'Chrysler umbrella', and doesn't share parts with Chrysler products, specifically. The engines were AMC, GM, Renault and VM Motori products, the transmissions were Borg Warner, Chrysler, Peugeot and Aisin, the chassis was bespoke, the axles were Danas, the interior was AMC until '97, the steering wheel was bespoke until '94, the steering column is GM, the fuel injection on the 4.0 was originally Renault-Bendix and was changed to Chrysler-based, etc.

Cherokee was sold by Chrysler, but if not for the extenuating circumstances surrounding the sale of AMC, it would not have had any connection save the '84-'86s using optional Chrysler Torque-Flite transmissions.

Tave

2nd gen Neon SRT-4. If you're going to have me vote for one of these beaters, the least I can do is cheat.

Depending on price, that could be a good deal.

Last gen SRT-4 ACR for me.

Payman

I know... a Rampage with an SRT4 engine swap!  :ohyeah:

280Z Turbo

I voted first gen Neon. It would be a good autocrosser, especially if it was and ACR version!

How about a hard kick in the nuts?

I think I'd rather have that than any of these.

I'm going to buy a tube radio so we can huddle round it and, by the light of a single candle, listen to President Obama's fireside chats.

Madman

Small Mopars?  Where's the Dodge Omni/Plymouth Horizon?  Or the Dodge Shadow/Plymouth Sundance?
