Hahahaha I can't even decide...the pictures are too stupidly funny!

Good lord....  Between the two 'spics in the first one, the "midnight ricers", and the hefty broad on the ZX2, this one is tough!

1st gen Turbo GT FTW!

That said, your Escorts suck.

Eye of the Tiger

*notice of error*

I believe choice #5 Second Gen GT is actually an LX model with a GT grille. If you look closely at the blue valve cover you can tell that the engine is clearly a single-cam POS. I should have expected this treachery from the likes of the Midnight Ricers.

That hefty broad is Nick's sister. Remember he said she's giving him her Escort?

No... my sister has a '94 4-door... like choice #4, except with 4-doors, and it's blue, and it doesn't have sweet rims, and without the old guy.

I'll say hefty broad wins by default...just cause she's a woman. Still....couldn't find any better ladies posing on Escorts??

Cool it on the racism.  :nono:

Had to vote for #1.

I like the 3rd gen LX sedan as a DD and the ZX2 is actually a favorite of mine.  I really like it, just not as much as the 1998 Civic Si.
2. 1995 Saturn SL2 5-speed, 126,500 miles. 5,000 miles in two and a half months. That works out to 24,000 miles per year if I can keep up the pace.

I don't care about all that shit.  I'll be going to college to get an education at a cost to my parents.  I'm not going to fool around.

What self-respecting woman would pose on a car that's worth less than $200k. Even then, an ESCORT?

I have no idea. I've never been an Escort fan but if I had to drive one it would probably be around the 4-5th gen.

Other than the lack of AWD, the smaller turbo, and a much uglier exterior, what's the difference?

I never would have thought the Merkur was related to the euro Escort anyway.

I think the car you're talking about was the one based on the Sierra.

IIRC the Escort Cosworth was based on a cut-down Sierra Cosworth 4x4 platform (bigger wheelbase & track than the standard Escort); so would have been related to the Merkur XR4.  Might have been just the running gear that was carried over though.

Anyway that's NOT the most desirable Escort -- THIS is (mark 1 RS1600 BDA) :

Eye of the Tiger

Somehow I just knew this would turn into a non-NA Escort discussion.

So, what the hell...
