Get the Jag.

As much as a BMW fan as I am, that Jag is simply great.

I would consider one based on the interior alone:

In that color that interior is very reminiscent of my uncle's old W126 560SEL.

in a word...........no.

the E38 is one of the most well-designed cars for me, especially with the sport package. I'm just in love with it. If you're looking for a big sedan thats good to drive though, i suppose you COULD switch.

you just can't beat big german barges though.

Why wouldn't he??

You're only young once! Why wait until you're old to get a sports car?

Well, the super V8 is the best of both worlds.  It the Vanden Plas and XJr rolled into one very lovely, very british sedan, and if the XJ Portfolio is any indication of how one drives, It wil still be a huge hoot to drive.

The Super V8 has that tacky vent on the side.

No, The Portfolio (see my sig) has the chrome vent, which I happen to think looks great on this car.

Ah, but that's the thing.  For the same price, he can get a sports car that doesn't convey the same image upon higher power people in buisness.  Your car can say a lot about who you are.  A large luxury sedan says that you're sophisticated.  While a sports car says that you like to have lots of fun and aren't as responsible as the person in teh sedan.  That's just what I have noticed.

He's 10 years old.  It doesn't fucking matter.

Were I in his position, I would buy the newest 911 I could find.

You drive a VW and a Porsche.  Both vehicles that convey a sense of maturity.

I don't see what the big problem is with me stating my opinion.  I do see a problem with me stating my opinion and then getting a blatant personal attack.
