Rented a chrysler voyager (bascially a fleet only base pacifica) on vacation. And it's currently already broken.  Electric parking brake won't release.  Looking online it seems like some electrical gremlin that either letting the car sit for a while or disconnecting the battery may fix.  I'm too tired to deal with it today. Gonna see what it does in the morning.

It seems like there is a strong possibility it at least makes it to the L as the Hemi is dead.

The rumor mill has announcements soon, but all I read has been dropping the Pentastar for a 2.0T as the base engine with the PHEV being the optional engine.  No mention yet of the hurricane.


I may me reluctantly pulling the trigger on a PHEV GC very soon.  It is mediocre at a PHEV, but cheaper way to get a few options than a similar equipped Pentastar version after all the rebates.  Competition is surprisingly small - everything is either substantially larger/smaller/pricier

Is Stellantis going to put the new Hurricane straight-six into the Grand Cherokee? Allegedly it was designed to fit anywhere the Pentastar V6 is used (or the 5.7 Hemi for that matter.) It's in the Grand Wagoneer & RAM 1500, but I think it would be really compelling in the GC - especially the 2-row.

Same thing happened on my GLS.  Took it to Town Fair Tire and they said it shouldn't be an issue.
