If you were a car

My daughter and I watched Cars for the 28th time last night and I got to thinking, "If I was a car, what would I be?"  Here are the rules:

- Pick the car that would like to be if you were a car
- Pick the car that you would most likely be.  Based on physical appearance and personality.

For example:

"Billy" would like to be a Ferrari F430.

"Billy" is 6'4", 280 lbs of muscle and can be a real jerk sometimes, so he would most likely be a jacked up 4x4.

OR

"John" would like to be a Camaro SS.

"John" is 5'1", 140 lbs, and is concerned about the environment and is very athletic, so he would be a Mazda MX-5.

SVT666

If it was up to me, I would like to be an Aston Martin DBS.

I'm 6'0" tall, a little overweight and I run out of gas pretty quickly, and I'm very passionate, so I would probably be a Shelby GT500.

Vinsanity

I'd probably be a V6 Camry with a TRD body kit and a set of dubz.

I'd actually be pretty ok with that. I don't exactly aspire to be some fancy schmancy high end car.

Eye of the Tiger

Powerful, but slow.
Not flashy. Interesting, perhaps.
Controls work, but are unintelligible.
Not popular, and does not understand why.
Mid-sized dimensions with full-sized efficiency.
Wants to be fancy, yet rugged, and sucks at both.
Bores quickly of the daily chores to which it is assigned, and secretly asks to be flogged, but will probably end up getting hurt.
I am a........ Saab 9-7x I6?
I guess I could live with that. I mean, I do live with that.

I would want to be a Lamborghini Reveton.

I don't know what I would be. I'm long and lanky and very athletic, yet usually pretty quiet and controlled. A Jaguar E-Type maybe?

Hell if I know.
6'4" and 174 lbs
I'm 36 so I don't run as fast as I could. And I'm white so I never could run or move as fast as my other basketball friends.
Don't like kids and don't need much room so it would be a 2 seater.
I still look young for my age. Got all my hair and get carded when I go out.
I like stuff from Japan. From video games, movies, girls, toys and cars.

So it would have to be a long, light sports car that's aged well.

Toyota 2000 GT

Kind of tough. Especially when being honest about yourself.

I gotta find something that represents a 6ft guy but average weight. Athletic ( and I can still sprint quite fast too ).  Practical / Reliable in personality.

So a a pretty quick, durable 4 door.  Modified Accord 6sp V6 Accord?

I wanna be an Audi RS4.

Car I'd like to be: 911

I'm 6'2", 185 lbs or so, strong as shit for how much I weigh.  Never the quickest feet in whatever sport I'm playing, but one of the fastest in a straight line.  Attractive, but pretty much unappealing on the inside .  I'm probably a Corvette Z06.

I'd consider myself to be a PT Cruiser. Slightly overweight, but still fun, practical and stylish.

I like to think I'm a Porsche 911.  Good looking (in a quirky way), iconic, and fantastic performance.  In reality, I'm probably a Toyota Tacoma - couldn't hurt to lose a few pounds, but still strong, useful and happiest in the woods.

I assume if we all had to be a car it would have to be one from the year of our birth?

Luckily for me, 1969 was a pretty good year for cars.

Here's me: Sleek, sophisticated, elegant and timeless.  A 1969 vintage Jaguar E-Type.

Here's the answer:

If you short circuit and your electrical systems go on the fritz constantly, you're British.

If you run rich, overheat, possibly catch on fire at times, and need constant maintenance, you're Italian.

Damn this is a good one.

Car I would like to be would probably be an E30 M3 2.5 EVO II. Light, precise, fast but completely accessible to a mere mortal. Good looking but relatively conspicuous and of great heritage.

Car I am... slightly heavy, stronger than average with surprising talents that can be called on in a jam. Somewhat aloof + non communicative though. Relatively good looking when I take care of myself and put on the right clothes but downright homeless when I don't care. B5 A4?

I'd WANNA be something quirky, ultra cool to those who really know me, pretty ordinary to everyone else.
A MINT 1991 Ford Taurus SHO "plus".

(notice the creases in the hood, absent from the regular gen1 Taurus, chrome around the side windows, "cheese slicer" wheels that they also used on the gen2, spoiler (only available on the "plus" and gen2), along with an improved shift linkage...)

But I'm probably an efficient everyday kinda guy, a little older, but with a little more under the hoold than it would appear:

Will

saxonyron

Tricky one.  Unusually tall, fairly athletic, fun loving, hard working, practical but dogmatic.  Holy shit - I think I'm an AWD minivan with a sport suspension.    Or maybe I'll go with my Suburban.  At least that's not a total buzzwrecker!

But I want to be a Porsche 911 or Audi R8.  What's a guy to do??
