Real Mods!

So I went to the junkyard and got some new parts for the Trep. These count as "Real" mods!

First up: Leather shifter from a 300M

Next to the old plastic one

Auto-Dim mirror, instead of the old flippy stick one

Retractable Cupholders from a '99 Intrepid

As opposed to the old '04 ones, which look like shit and went into my buddy's car, from where I got the cupholders

New signal bulbs

Because the old ones were peeling

And a new license plate bracket, because my old one was done for

I can proudly say, I did all the work myself, which is a big accomplishment for me. I also got new steelies for the winter.

Also, my interior looks gray in the pics, as well as the cupholders and shifter. It's all JET BLACK. The color of the cupholders doesn't seem to match in pics, but in real life it looks perfect.

What did it end up costing you?

See, junkyards are fun!
Maybe we need to start off small. I mean, they don't let you fuck the glumpers at Glumpees without a level 4 FuckPass, do they?

Oh yeah, $40 for everything. Ciprian said it was a steal because the auto-dim mirror itself is worth $50. All the parts are mint, except the cupholders, but a little bit of cleaning with a wet cloth made them look mint too.

edit: Also got a carpet trunklid liner from a '98 ES, because the '04s didn't come with it. It looks pretty nice; I forgot to mention it because well, it's in the trunk. Reminds me, I have to show my dad that, because I forgot earlier.

I don't care about all that shit.  I'll be going to college to get an education at a cost to my parents.  I'm not going to fool around.

Raza has that effect on people.

There's an old adage I heard somewhere that went something like "If there's any doubt, there is no doubt."
