Cool but next time go for GE Nighthawks.

Yeah?  Are Nighthawks good?

After you wake up with the sun at 6am on someone's floor, coughing up cigarette butts and tasting like warm beer, you may well change your opinion on this matter.

Clearly, by drawling less current the alternator doesn't have to work nearly as hard, giving you more power to the road!

Exactly.  Sportyaccordy says he can feel the difference too, so I believe him.

silverstars are crap.. they blow so easily. what size bulb does the trep use? spend hte extra money and go with PIAA's... that's what I'm running for my DRL/highbeam as well as fogs.

AND: colour matched headlights and fog lights are kind of stupid IMO.. fogs are better off in 3000K

No, Trep, that's an LS.

This is a Crown:

The Crown has a different C-Pillar. Nice try, though.

Next up: I'm planning on removing my front-mount license plate because

A) Somebody backed into my car in 2005 or 2006 virtually destroying the front plate frame
and
B) I think the front plate ruins what little styling element this car has.

I'll display it in the front windshield or something.

I'm not sure that's legal, and displaying it in your windshield looks worse than on your bumper.

Go big or go home.  All or nothing here.

Really? Being absolutely honest, the Intrepid is one of the very few Dodges I've liked of say...the last 10 years? And I like your color/wheel combo.

I don't think either that the word mods was appropriate for what you did, just the words bulbs or lights would've been better. I'm looking to get HIDs for the Terrano.

TheIntrepid

HIDs? This guy Ciprian, his Intrepid has an HID retrofit. Quick snap of it I got the other day. VERY clean Inferno Red 02 SXT.

I may be buying these rims for mine.

No to those rims. They look tacky to me.

TheIntrepid

You guys think my existing 17" rims look better?

Yeah, I do.

And they are called wheels.

One is the proper term, and one is an incorrect term.  Guess which is which?  Call them whatever you want though.

To me your actual rines look worlds better. Thick spokes look good on the Intrepid.

Something about that car screams "RENTAL CAR" to me.

Just needs a coat of plain white.

Do yourself a favor. Keep saving your money until you can buy a car you really want. It will be worth it.

Rim = rim
Tire = rubber
Wheel = rim + rubber

For what he said, rim or wheel is the same.

It's not that they don't look better, it's that they don't look different enough to warrant spending any money or hassle on getting.  Save the cash.

To expound on that, the rim is the outer circumference of material.  The hub, spokes and rim as a whole are the wheel.

Bah, kids these days!

The rim is the outside part or rim of the wheel, the hub is the center of the wheel and the spokes or the web connect the rim to the hub:the wheel is what bolts onto the car and holds the tire, the tire is the rubber part that touches the road.

The huge predominance of one-piece wheels has confused this a little, but the words still mean the same thing. Wire wheels, spun monocoque and three piece wheels are still in use.
Maybe we need to start off small. I mean, they don't let you fuck the glumpers at Glumpees without a level 4 FuckPass, do they?

I always thought the wheel was the entire metal round thing, the tire was the rubber part and the rim is just the part of the wheel outside the spokes.
