I hope they change the rest of the truck more than they did the exterior and interior, and that they actually improve the rest. Very disappointing.

Indeed. They had better have spent the money making it a mechanical marvel of some sort--and much more than just a Tundra clone (i.e. a big engine and a big cab).

I like the look of the front end and the interior is awesome, although there are way too many buttons on the centre stack.

.....which was a Dodge clone (i.e. a big engine and a big cab).

VetteZ06

I really like the exterior, but not so much the interior.

3.0L V6

Is there a power increase? 300hp is good, but in a world of 380hp Toyotas and 365hp Chevies....

The column shift looks gross. Center stack has too many buttons.

You're kidding right?  It looks nothing like a Tundra.  It looks like the Super Chief concept truck.

Not digging the new corporate grill on this one...or any of the others, for that matter.

It has a huge grille and relatively small headlights like the Tundra.

My sentiments exactly.  Damn that thing looks huge though!  Quad cabs and full size beds don't really do anything for me.  I'd much rather have a reg. cab with an 8 foot bed, or extended cab with the 6.5 foot bed.  I realize that the truck buying public disagrees with me, and I'm not in the market for a full size truck anyway, but still, that things is freaking huge!

I'll take one of these any day, with a Cummins.

After you wake up with the sun at 6am on someone's floor, coughing up cigarette butts and tasting like warm beer, you may well change your opinion on this matter.

HUGE

Answer me in the Chat if you wish, so I don't totally derail this thread: How is the Ranger treating you?  I miss mine a lot, and I'm always checking Craigslist for a good deal on one.

The headligts look the same size as the current truck.

But the grille looks bigger so that's why imo i think it looks like a Tundra.

I missed the post in Chat, are you looking for a winter beater of some sort?  A cheap V6 4x4 Ranger would do the trick nicely. Coming up on 10k I've had no issues at all with mine(though I don't have a 4x4 or the V6 :( ).

I'm seeing a strong GMC Sierra vibe, but the Tundra has little slits for headlights.

It's no bigger then the current F-150 SuperCrew.

Yes it is.

(140 pixels longer!)

SVT666

The cab looks no bigger at all and the middle length box on that spy photo is already available on the current one.

ifcar

The front door is much longer.

Secret Chimp

Front end looks lame, like a big Escape.

That's a great local brewery that we have. Do I drink their beer? No.

GoCougs

And look at the front doors. Way longer.

Forget looks - give us the details on mechanicals. After all, it's a truck.

Totally correct--much closer to the Super Chief concept truck than anyone would have expected!  Clearly, the F-150 is moving up to the brawniness of the other F-Series trucks, and that's a good thing for those who use their trucks for work.

I saw a bit of a Tacoma resemblance too.

Holy shit.  You guys see every other vehicle produced in new car designs.  This truck has NO Tacoma in it at all.  Look at it.  It looks like a mildly revised F-150.
