Golf TSI = ok, so we picked the same thing.

VXR Zafira > Exiga. Exiga is unproven and looks like a bloated legacy. It's also poorly packaged. Zafira has won numerous awards for it's interior packaging.

Jimny = Terios. Both are great Off-road runabouts.

120ic > 320d.........you got me on this one. If i'm right, 320d's are usually less equipped.

Exige >>>>>>>>>>> JCW Mini. Hands Down.

the Teuton

Golf TSI = you copied off me.  I'll take it as a compliment.

Exiga > Zafira VXR.  Come on, it has an EJ207 in it.  The car has a detuned STI powertrain and it just rocks.  It also looks better to boot.

Terios > Jimny.  The Jimny is a Samurai, and Samurais are older than dirt.  Jimnys here would kick ass.

120iC >>> 320d.  Eww, 3er.  Just eww.

Exige > JCW.  Fine, you got me there.  Like I said, LeBron alone could not take down the Celtics.

2.0L, 240 HP. It's the same motor in the Cobalt SS Turbo. It's also a more usable 7-seater.

Okay, so it comes down to this:  Ecotec or EJ207?  I'd go with the EJ.

I know it's X1.8 with MCSCC, but I can't say for sure if other sanctioning bodies use the same multiplier.

Raza

Golf GT Twincharge, obviously, for the daily driver.

For the CUV, I'll take the Tiguan 2.0T.  With a stick.

Why does the offroader category have lower displacement than the CUV category?  I have no idea what to put here.

Caterham R500 for the track car.  Of course.

0-60 in 3.6 seconds.

Luxury car would have to go to the 123d M Sport coupe.

(Yes, it's a 1,995cc engine.  0-60 in 7 seconds)

Damn, couldn't find any place for the Renaultsport Megane dCi 175 at 1995cc.

If I add up all those displacements I get 8.4 Liters.

Thus I choose this.

I win.

Larger isn't always what you want.
Not all that heavier is still heavier.  My luxury car choice is best.  You guys need to read spec sheets better!

Fixed. Note that I consider being larger to be a bad thing.

Oh, and since I'm too lazy to research displacement sizes, I'll take Raza's list with a Samurai for the SUV.

A compact sedan is too large for your luxury car, even though you'd have several subcompacts and small sports cars?

I think you two have a bit to learn about luxury.

If I have a four door, or even a two door, Golf GT, what do I need a luxury car for other than the badge?  I took it because it was the only rear drive luxury car that I wanted.  I would have gone for the A4 2.0T (Quattro or FronTrak) or the Saab 9-3, but I had FWD and AWD already, and I didn't have a rear drive fixed top car.  I have a 4/2 door hatch and an SUV.  Why do I need a (relatively large) sedan on top of that?

Also, there's no 323d, so you're stuck with the slower 320d.  Fastest, lightest RWD car that fits the displacement constraint and luxury constraint is the 123d 2 door.

I believe the latest 3ers have actually grown enough to qualify as midsize (albeit the very bottom end of the scale).

Surprisingly, E90s are less than 4 inches longer than E36s. 3ers haven't grown very much, they're just packaged better.

EDIT: They haven't grown much in length. Of course, they're wider and quite a bit heavier.
