People sometimes get used to a certain size, and are reluctant to adapt.
Maybe we need to start off small. I mean, they don't let you fuck the glumpers at Glumpees without a level 4 FuckPass, do they?

He's driving an older, early 90s Accord which weren't all that big.  They were about as big as a Contour or 1st gen Altima (barely midsize).

If you change the sight lines, and the way a car responds, it can make a car feel larger or smaller even if it doesn't change the physical size.

Get a Volvo.

Excellent sight lines make it feel small, slow response makes it feel big. YAY!

Didn't this car have low mileage?  Seriously, aren't you 3 for 3 with Honda deaths?  Might be time to pick up something newish, that hasn't been abused (as most any modded '90s Honda has been).

Sorry to hear about that, though.  I do like those cars.

You killed 3 Hondas? That's pretty impressive, since Honda 4-bangers are usually pretty stout.

How'd you kill the other ones?

Rupert

Isn't it three killed Hondas and two Maximas that survived?

1st Accord died. 2nd Accord was running like a top when I sold it but it didn't have A/C or P/S and I didn't want to go through putting it all in. 3rd Accord died. 1st Maxima got into an accident (had I known more about cars I would have fixed it, it was all cosmetic), 2nd Maxima was running fine but I sold for reasons listed.

Right now I am thinking TSX, Prelude or later G20. Possibly an automatic

I'd get a G20.  Those were nifty, little cars, and the SR20 NA is stout.
2. 1995 Saturn SL2 5-speed, 126,500 miles. 5,000 miles in two and a half months. That works out to 24,000 miles per year if I can keep up the pace.

4-cyl + slushbox = No.
Unless turbo'd, of course.

That Volvo that you posted probably just needs the overdrive solenoid or relay.  That and the lift gate struts.

spishak

Perhaps getting it replaced by an experienced person is better option than doing it yourself.

G20's are available in 5-speed.

Also, look for the touring model. Tourings have LSD. I hope to get one for my 1st car.

Mine needs lift gate struts, and mine has the O/D solenoid bypassed. So, I can't turn O/D off, but at least I have it.

Yea the touring model is the pick of the litter. I skipped a '96 for my first Accord.

At the time the Accord was very solid; the G20 had some issues to fix. Of course if I knew then what I know now... I would have the Maxima

TBR

If it were me I would pay to have the Accord fixed right (ie: a rebuilt engine not just another old, tired engine that's just going to give up in a few thousand miles like the last one) and try to keep it as long as I could. Hell, that is what I am doing.

Sporty, dump the Accord as-is, and get yourself into a standard/unmodified $8,000 - $10,000 compact such as a Corolla or Civic AND STAY THERE FOR AT LEAST THREE YEARS (AND KEEP YOUR HANDS OFF).

Time for playing around is over, you need to get ahead, and THEN think about get something that tickles your car hobby fancy. Until then, substituting junk will only continue to drive you nuts.

Holy shit.  That's a good deal.  That car looks to be in great shape and those wheels are kickass.  If I lived anywhere near this car, I would buy it.

Get this one!  Swap those ugly ass headlights for the stock ones and you've got a killer car.  I love my SVTF.

He's young and restless. He just wants to have fun with his rides. A corolla is boring a s ever, compared to the Modded accords he's had.

Not only that, Sporty lives in Brooklyn where spending that kind of $$ on a car that will be driven part time during the week and weekends doesn't make sense.
