Galaxy

It`s been a few weeks since the Detroit show but since no one posted it, I thought I would.

The roadster is mid engined and based on the new modular transverse plattform.

Except for the interior it looks production ready. I prefer this to the Concept R.

Now build it!

2. 1995 Saturn SL2 5-speed, 126,500 miles. 5,000 miles in two and a half months. That works out to 24,000 miles per year if I can keep up the pace.

Lovely!

I want to see a coupe though, with better wheels.

That either weighs 4000 lbs, or 2000 lbs. It's hard to get a sense of how big it is in the pictures.

Love it, but the market just isn't there for this car. The Eos isn't selling too well, so I doubt this will make production.

The Eos is in that price range (but not performance). To make it, this car should be a Miata/Solstice/Sky competitor.

Maybe this will replace the Eos.

This is what the Eos should've been. IMO they should make a hardtop version and have it as a cheap Boxster/Cayman alternative.

In an interview, the head of R&D at VW said they want to tarket the MX-5. That probably means at least slightly more expensive then an MX-5.

Whoah.  That's too sporty and cool-looking to be a VW.  I like it.  It will probably be way overpriced, though.

Looks aside, If the PT and Pronto Spyder were given to Plymouth, chrysler could possibly not be in the poisition is now. Would be nice to see a Domestic MR car.

Besides, you can't compare an MR sports car, to a FWD compact coupe with a folding metal top. The Eos is more comparable to a Focus CC or Opel Tigra. This is more like a Solstice or Vauxhall VX220.

And GM announced a while back that they have no intention of producing a 2nd gen Kappa car.  The Skystice are lame ducks riding out their final years of production before they become a footnote in GM history.

Have to just be the 370Z seeing that Honda says the S2000 is dead after 09.

It looks ok but I just don't see them making it with the way things are these days.

It looks like they grabbed styling cues from each of their competitors, but I still like it.

Keep it around 2900 lbs with a 250-270HP 2.0T in it and it would be awesome.

I look forward to never seeing it in production, or even if it makes production never hitting our shores.

The sky/solstice could have been world class and known around the world as one of if not the best performance bargain. All it would take is consistant improvement and updates over a few generations. With that in mind GM better kill it quick so that doesn't happen.
