I don't like it. At all. Only Toyota can make a 500HP supercar have the road presence of a Camry.

Submariner

Fuck...that's way too over the top.

Raza

That looks pretty good.  Is it front engined?  I thought the original concept was supposed to be mid?

Really? I think it looks exceptionally bland. Other than some fussy details and a squat greenhouse, it looks slab-sided and narrow.

It IS mid engined.

Raza

It's got a long "hood" for a mid engined car.

I like it.  Much nicer then the GT-R.

It's front engined.  2o6 is just being a smart ass and calling it mid engine because it's behind the front axle.

Don't like the headlights at all, but it doesn't look bad from the back.

Tave

Liked the concept and like this.

Depending on price, that could be a good deal.

the Teuton

560 hp 4.8 liter V10.

Limited to 500 units...this is not a GT-R competitor in the traditional sense. It will probably cost over $200,000. It'd be absolutely worth it if it weren't a Toyota.

That said, I really like it.
2. 1995 Saturn SL2 5-speed, 126,500 miles. 5,000 miles in two and a half months. That works out to 24,000 miles per year if I can keep up the pace.

I don't care about all that shit.  I'll be going to college to get an education at a cost to my parents.  I'm not going to fool around.

You can take the troll out of the Subaru, but you can't take the Subaru out of the troll!

Me like.

Now please make a sports car I can buy.

That's what I get for not reading. It's front-engined.

No need to be a douche about it.

I bet that screen is a touch screen you need to use for navi.

I like this though

CALL_911

I don't like it as much as the SLS, but I still like it a lot.

2o6

Seeing it from other angles makes it look better, but it doesn't have the same width and stance as other cars with similar or even less output. The GT-R has a squat stance. The 911 has huge hips. This is kinda tall looking.

Payman

Much interest in the FT86 concept. Zero interest in this.

Vinsanity

That interior has a strong pre-production/prototype feel to it. At least in that pic, it does.

3 exhausts, huh?

It's got 10 cylinders, so 3 cyl per pipe. Duh.

What do you think feeds the turbo?

Xer0

So, Ferrari first copies Lexus with the stupid double stacked exhaust from the IS-F.  And now, Lexus copies Ferrari's triple exhaust of the Italia.  Lexus definetly got the better end of the deal here.

But do they honestly think somebody will buy a $250,000 Toyota over a Ferrari? I really don't get the point of this car.

Hey, if people buy $70k Nissans over Porsches, there's probably a market for this car.

At only 500 or so I'm sure there will be enough buyers for this thing as it will be pretty exclusive.  I wouldn't take it over an Italia or Gallardo but I'm sure someone will.

Submariner

They're smart to peg it at 500.  If they all sell out, it becomes a runaway success, and with only 500 models, as Xer0 said, they probably can find enough buyers.

Gotta thank Sony big time on that one

And so you touch this limit, something happens and you suddenly can go a little bit further. Without GT, let's see what would be dead/not as popular:

-WRX
-Evo
-Aston Martin
-GT-R
-RUF
-interest in Toyota racing
-And a slew of other rice mobiles.

The enthusiast industry owes a lot of credit to Sony and Polyphony.

Aston Martin?  I don't think GT has anything to do with the popularity of Aston Martin.
