Doesn't look so bad in the great scheme of things, but in the end no one will give a shit. I give this thing two years, tops.

If it's marketed properly and priced right, I could see it as a viable C30/S40 and other luxo-compact competitor.

Laconian

I saw a few of these in France and thought they looked pretty good. I think most Lancias in general are well positioned for the rebadging as Chryslers.

Yeah, 'cause those C30s are flying out the doors in the States...

I envision this ends up in a Saturn Astra-esque demise. Too expensive, not powerful enough, no sedan bodystyle, and in the end no one cares and the product gets pulled quickly.

TurboDan

It looks OK. They're not going to be a hot seller, but they'll move a few of them, I'm sure.

2. 1995 Saturn SL2 5-speed, 126,500 miles. 5,000 miles in two and a half months. That works out to 24,000 miles per year if I can keep up the pace.

I don't care about all that shit.  I'll be going to college to get an education at a cost to my parents.  I'm not going to fool around.

She'll hate diesel passenger cars, all things Ford, and fiat currency.  They will masturbate to old interviews of Ayn Rand an youtube together.

Must be some kind of Fiat Panda variation.

Here's what I want them to make a new version of:

Price it alongside the SL550 and watch it fly off the dealer lots.

That wouldn't sell at all.

I WANT INTEGRALE.

Why?

Nope. It's based off the C-segment Fiat Bravo. It would likely replace the PT if it come to fruition.

CJ

People bought the Caliber SRT-4, so why wouldn't an Integrale work here?

The 1.8L Turbo (197HP) is plenty.

CJ

Not for some people.  Provide a fun hot hatch like the Caliber SRT-4 and people WILL buy it.  Just make it better built with better materials than the SRT-4.

It isn't smart to release a hot hatch on a car that is unproven. (here)

CJ

VW did it, so why can't Chrysler?

When?

We don't even know how well the Delta will do.

CJ

They did it with the original Rabbit.

It isn't 1983.

There are also a lot more competitors in this field.

INTEGRALE

I don't think it's going to happen. It's an unfounded car in the US, and in Europe, it'd be in an overcrowded segment.

CJ

You're right, seeing seeing as it's 2010, and there are a lot more competitors.  All the more reason to make an Integrale.

And they wouldn't sell any.

CJ

Says who?  People demanded they bring the Caliber SRT-4 to market, and they did.  It sold decently, so why wouldn't this?

Hmmm, a tall-ish C-segment hatch from Chrysler?  Sounds like an ideal PT Cruiser replacement to me!

Italian reliability will be let loose in cars that will travel more than 1,000 miles a year. They will have to survive American roads, road salt, and general douchebaggery associated with American drivers.

I wish the Fiat group luck.
