Eye of the Tiger

All Carspin members: submit your car, a car that is yours, pick one of yours (not your mom's van) - to be judged against all the others and crowned (with a real crown) Carspin's COTY. Your feelings will probably get hurt.

Submit one picture, and some brief stats.

Thank you.

Should I do my 20 year old modified car or stock new one? I can't let the one I don't pick know or it will break down to get me back.

2007 WRX Limited wagon, 5mt, leather, sunroof, 0-60 in around 5.6-6.0 depending on the reviewer and launch method.  Add a 3mm larger rear sway bar and custom tune which cranks boost up to 15psi rather than 11.  Maybe 250-260hp estimated based on dyno results for similar cars. Eats mountain passes and canyon roads for dinner.

I don't care about all that shit.  I'll be going to college to get an education at a cost to my parents.  I'm not going to fool around.

Can I submit an old car?

1996 Honda Accord DX.
Mods: backwards into a guardrail at 50 mph.  Duct tape to keep snow out of the trunk (there isn't much metal under that) for the subsequent 300+ mile drive home.  Hacksawed off part of exhaust.  Soldered in tail lights from different Accord so I wouldn't get pulled over.  Reattached bumper cover w/ drywall screws to make it look less sketchy, from a distance.  God I'm an idiot.

the Teuton

Will that pass inspection up there?

Doubt it, but we'll never know.  Sold it to some guy whose girlfriend had mashed the front end of her Accord.  He was going to marry the two cars together.  So at least she lives on in some form...

FFFFFFUUUUUUUU... you have a Sable wagon with a DOHC 24v Vee Six. Why would you want to bend the rules for a silly wrecked Honduh?

'Cause I don't know if I have any pics of the Sable.

Also, I switch between the Sable and my girlfriend's '06 S40.  It's soooo hard to go back to driving the USS Enterprise...

I call shens.

I'm finding more 8.6 seconds, but C/D did 7.9 in a slightly newer, 100 lbs. heavier SC2, so that was my reference point.
