The prht is much better for winter driving.  Don't have to worry about drains clogging as you do with the soft top.  More security too (don't have to worry about people slitting your roof to get into your car).

I think you guys need to ditch the grocery getters (or actually get a car in the first place), before criticizing me for wanting 70 lbs of civility in a sports car I plan on driving daily.

I'm assuming this is aimed at me, and I never said anything about the extra 70 or whatever extra little amount that doesn't really matter in a car.

The rear deck looks too long to me on the PRHT version.

I agree that the soft top looks better, but I like the extra civility that Mike is talking about. I'd probably end up with the soft top anyway, just for the price.

I can't find the car I want.  That's the issue.  2008 and up, Grand Touring, 6-speed Miata, with the premium and sports package, under 30,000 miles, and not red or white.  About $18,000 is what I want to spend.

I know the asking prices are higher than $18,000, but there's no reason why you shouldn't be able to talk them well below $18k.

Thanks for looking.  They seem relatively plentiful up there.  Flying up there is $200 at least probably, and then I'm fucked if I find anything wrong with the car.  That's the biggest issue I have.  I kind of have to buy these sight unseen.

I like it a lot.  Not a fan of that appearance package though.  That extra front lip looks silly.  Rather not have it and just lower it.

The one in cincinnati is CPO and only 4,600 miles.  Asking a $22,000 though.  If I can get it for $19,500 or under, I'll try and jump on this one.

Buy it!  Looks great.  Have you thought about putting the MazdaSpeed front clip on one when you get one?  If I could have afforded an NC1, I'd have been all over that.

Unfortuntely there aren't any good looking front clips made for the NB1.

And to be honest, even though the NC2 looks better than the NC1, I really enjoyed driving the NC1 more than the NC2.
