Thanks guys.  I love it so far.

Bought it about 45 minutes north of Pittsburgh.  I drove the whole way there in my roommate's Taurus, bought the thing, then drove back with the Miata.  Definitely not the best car for cross country trips, but it's hands down the most fun thing to drive around in my price range.  I drove something like 10 hours yesterday, so I'm pretty drained.

It's a 2008, 21k miles, Grand Touring trim level with the premium package, sports suspension package, and appearance package.  I think every option might be checked.  That means, heated leather seats, cloth (instead of vinyl) top, Bose audio (with satellite radio that still has some life on it's subscription!), 6-speed, keyless ignition (straight up bad-ass Bond style), Xenon headlights, stability control, LSD, and some shitty sport springs and shocks.

It MSRP'd for over $30k I think, and I got it for $16,600 + tax and title.  I thought that was a screaming deal, considering carmax was really the only way to get similar year, options, and mileage, and those were all around $20,000.

Supercharger is like 5 grand.  That's not happening.

Springs, shocks, and sway bars are very plausible soon.  I thought you were getting new suspension shit for the Jetta?

I am.  Last month was very expensive, so I'm giving myself a month cushion before I make another large purchase.  Once this CC billing cycle closes, I'm ordering it.

As for the NC, NICE. My brother has a NC like that in a different color and I like driving it around. When he sells it for a Lotus I'm thinking about picking it up sometime.

You should get that cough looked at.

Nice car, I shopped them for awhile. Everyone around here wanted WAYYYY too much money for them.

Onslaught

They cost too much but I think a NC with a Removable hard top on it looks great. For the winter anyway.

So, uh, I'm going to spam your thread. I need those pics of anything car or Deutschland you have, Mike. You know the drill.
