The Official CarSPIN Bad Parking Hall of Shame.

Some idiot parked next to me today.

That's not a parking space. There's a tree in the front half of the "space". I park there so that I only park next to one other car, but not today!

The campus police even drove by it and didn't do anything. I think I'll put a sticky note on the window telling them to find a real space.

That's a Silverado, dude.

Also, Alex, your pic reminds me of how good looking the E46 is.

Who thinks that parking like this is okay?

You have a huge car, asshole, take the extra 5 seconds to park it in the spot, between the lines, and straight!

I'm pretty sure it's the same guy I posted last time.

Saw this happen.  The guy gets out of his SUV, looks at his park job, decides it's okay, and walks away.  Seriously,

Find out his address via his license plate, send him these two photos and see if he gets the hint!

Print the photos out and put them on his windshield. He'll never find out who posted them there. Oh, and wear gloves so the CSI teams can't dust for prints.  :ohyeah:

Yeah, that's why I didn't put a note on the van that parked next to me. Figured they would assume it was me, and didn't want to have any payback done to my car or something. They left and I haven't seen them back, so it's cool.

I always hated when people tried to park in those "tree spaces"

Someone else is parked there today.

My plan to park there and only have one other car next to me is not working.

hotrodalex

Okay, this time it was a hot blonde. I'll forgive her.

cawimmer430

This was from last year, but I need to post it again. Check out my excellent parking job of shoehorning that big ass Durango into a standard small ass European parking space. No silly Self-Parking systems, just good old fashioned driving and situational awareness talent!   :praise:   :mrcool:

That's okay...you should find a different spot anyways!  Parking next to/under trees is a great way to get a lot of sap/pollen buildup on your paint... :ohyeah:

These trees are fine. Maybe a leaf or two falls on the car, but there isn't excessive sap and it's autumn so there's not really any pollen. And there seem to be no birds in Utah.

Damn, just look at the number of parking spaces this guy is using.  How inconsiderate!

Actually, lots of leaves are falling now, so they are no longer fine. I'll have to avoid them for a couple of weeks unless I want to brush dead leaves off constantly.

I find the air flowing over the car does a pretty good job of removing leaves...

I got the coveted spot under the ONE tree today- it was 80deg here today!

And I had to deal with a unique problem for the first time- leaves all over the seats and floor. (top down)
