I would say you'll be fine, but then again, it is a Ford...  :ohyeah:

the Teuton

2. 1995 Saturn SL2 5-speed, 126,500 miles. 5,000 miles in two and a half months. That works out to 24,000 miles per year if I can keep up the pace.

I don't care about all that shit.  I'll be going to college to get an education at a cost to my parents.  I'm not going to fool around.

A Ranchero?  Could you expand on it a bit.  What generation?  What engine?

Obviously I've missed some chit-chat.

I believe it's of the '77-'79 vintage.

Yeah, it's the ridiculously large boat version.

Anyway, I'm looking forward to your impressions of it!

Yeah, but they're tiny, anyway. I would put some real wire wheels in a larger size (though, obviously not donk-size ;) ) on there.

I believe it's of the '77-'79 vintage.

Why?

It's grossly oversized for Eurpoean driving.
Most cars of that era rust at the drop of a hat.
It's going to handle like a pig.
The rear end is light, forget slippery conditions traction.
The seats offer no support, especially laterally.
It drinks fuel like there is no tomorrow.

Both the Ranchero and the El Camino (Chevy version of the same concept) were bastard compromises, IMHO.  Neither a good pickup nor a car, but with the bad points of each.  People do love 'em though.

Here's just a little preview of the things you can do with a Ranchero. You lucky bastard!  :praise:

I do. That was just a quick one minute photoshop so I just needed a bunch of scantily clad females of breeding age to fit in the back of a Ranchero!  :winkguy:

:rage:

Of course my El Camino is almost exactly the same as a Chevelle, just looks different. Pretty sure they handle about the same and I've heard the 3rd generation El Camino actually has similar weight distribution as the Chevelle.

That thing really needs a set of steer horns on the hood (take that, pedestrian safety standards).
