Top speed in mine is probably 110?  That would be way too fast in a 19year old car that has a slight wobble at 60mph. (bent wheel?)

Mine is somewhere between 130 and 135. I had it at 130 and it was still pulling but there was a slight bend in the road and the car was already so unstable that I didn't want to take the slight bend at that speed.


My friend in his M5 flew around the bend at 140.

It was about 115-120 new. I got my NA up to 110 before backing off, and it was still gradually accelerating. The wobble at 60 might just be an out of balance wheel-- those cars are quite sensitive to that.

It has happened to me a few times. When the Federales stop you there is mostly no "mordida". The  fine for speeding is about US$100. That's it, no point system on federal highways. Mexico City police never stop you for speeding, but of course this speeds can be driven only in the wide open road, never in the city.

Many times I've gotten off with just a warning. But I've never been caught at anything near this speed. 180 kph at most.
