Is this an XK replacement or something under/above it?

The original F-type was supposed to slot below the XK and be a Boxster/Cayman segment competitor.  Not sure if this will be true to that mission or not.

I agree.  Here are a couple other shots of it.

Aston Marton + XJ + G37... meh, P1 looks more interesting

You're biased because it looks like your car.

Will need to see more photos, looks mediocre from the shot in the top

It looks more like the combination of a 599 and an XK.

Finally, hopefully, a real Boxster alternative. I love it.

I think he meant too literal and cliche.
I don't care what he means.  Gorgeous is gorgeous.

Doesn't look like a Jag.  What is that ugly lump of plastic in the middle of the grille?  Why is there a seam in the front fender?

The back looks okay.

What's a Jag supposed to look like? You actually want retrocrap instead of beautifully modern styling? There's plenty of E-Type cues in this design. It's beautiful.

Jaguar, by definition, is sleek with feline grace.  This thing looks like a Grouper.  I don't like the gills either.

I like it, gives me a maserati quattroporte vibe.

Colin

This car sits under the XK. Think of it as a Boxster/Cayman competitor.

I absolutely loved the C-X16 Concept, thought it was the best concept car I'd seen in ages, so am pleased to learn that almost all the looks have been preserved. That means waiting for the Coupe, probably........ but the convertible is pretty nice, too. I'll have the red one, please.

With the XF SportBrake about to go on sale and this coming next Spring, finally, Jaguar's range starts to expand a bit. They need volume (a lot more volume). The cars that they do have are all fabulous, as I found out with recent drives of an XF and an XJ, but they sell to too few people, still.

Raza

Hmm.  A good looking Jaguar.  I thought they'd forgotten how.

Any word yet on powertrain?  Are we talking small V8 or medium sized 6 (with or without forced induction)?

looks good, however I prefer the concept from a few years ago.

I'd like to buy a used one a few years down the road.  Depends on what the ND Miata looks like

I'm glad Jag no longer makes the 1970s looking cars they made until like, 1998. This car is just plain beautiful, no way around it!

MexicoCityM3

The coupe is beyond gorgeous. That?s an argument to start saving right there.

A few?

A few?

A FEW!?

I started saving up for the original F-Type concept before I had a license and I still wanted an SLK230 as my first car!  There was a HANGING CHAD controversy!  People were starting to eat the food from the bomb shelters they just finished making because everything turned out okay!  No one had heard of Twitter!  The word "blog" didn't exist!  I still owned a pair of shorts!

This does have classic styling.  It's the Lexus humping a Citroen that's sucking off a Lincoln crap that I object to.
