Listen to chimp.

Then you can at least pretend to be as cool as me.

Dude, I am so cool I am a meat Popsicle.

I am so hip I have trouble seeing over my own pelvis.
Maybe we need to start off small. I mean, they don't let you fuck the glumpers at Glumpees without a level 4 FuckPass, do they?

All you had to say was faux wood paneling.

Of course it's fake. Who uses real wood for cars? That'd be like using real horses for horsepower.

How gaudy. That doesn't look fake at all.

Probably real leather on the seats and wool in the carpeting too.  Gaudy AND pretentious.

I'm really trying to behave myself here, really. Its just that I didn't really realize that 302 parts could be found so cheap...

You mean like from a tree? Did they get rid of the birds and squirrels first at least?

I think those black lines running through the wood may be whats left of the birds and squirrels.

Average MPG so far?

About 14, which seems low to me, but I haven't yet found a cause.

Hmmm.... Try driving different. Accent is getting 32-33 in moderate traffic on my short commute because I am driving like I have no brakes. I would normally get 27-29.

I suspect there's a sensor issue that's not quite apparent right now. The TPS was a little off, but just a little. Also, the TV cable probably needs to be adjusted in.

Yeah, just adjust the TV so the only way to downshift is with full throttle. Instant MPG boost.

Bad temp sensors and their wiring on those can really kill MPG. Is the on inside of your tailpipe all sooty?

Just put a flowmaster on it and adjust the idle as low as you can.

What I'd rather do is find a set of GT40 heads, and the intake from a 5.0 Explorer or an aftermarket one and then a set of shorty headers and then put a flowmaster on it. With the stock cam.
