Yea, they put on secondary regular injectors. Cheaper than recalls/warranty claims I guess. First car I heard that does this is the Toyobaru Freeze Breeze
The 3.5L V6 in the IS350 has had the secondary injectors since it was introduced in 2005 as a 2006 model.  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Toyota_GR_engine#2GR-FSE
