But does it have a little plastic flap to cover up the jamb and make a seemlessly flat floor for easily sliding flammable boxes in and out?

Well, no; but if you swing it sideways you do have a seemlessly flat floor, and there's a steel flap to cover up the area where the rear seats fold down
Maybe we need to start off small. I mean, they don't let you fuck the glumpers at Glumpees without a level 4 FuckPass, do they?

No shit. Thanks. It is very utilitarian.

I've always had a soft spot for them, ever since I was in my friend's one in high school, and we drove across snowy lawns to get from place to place. We could have used the roads, in retrospect, but he wanted to show off how easily it tackled snow.

I just packed it to the ceiling with boxes. They didn't think I could get everything in one load. People had to go outside and look.

Did she sing "like a good neighbor" and then her agent appeared?

FWIW, I've had really good experiences dealing with State Farm.

As they say on Craigslist, it has a few scratches but it should buff out just fine. You should get enough insurance money to bring Summit back to life.

A good buffing would cleae much of it up, but the lower part of the dent has a sharp crease.

A lot of the fun curvy mountain roads around here are like 1.5 lanes wide with no center line. Makes brisk driving a little more dangerous, since you never know when a dumbass soccer mom in a Suburban will come around the corner halfway on your side of the road.

What doesn't work in an Element: trying to induce oversteer in a wet road by flicking it sideways while stabbing the throttle. As soon as the rear might have enough power to spin, it is shut down. Power goes back to the front and it understeers. That's fine, I guess. Element handles great when it isn't asked to drift.
