The fact that it isn't built yet kind of implies it's probably more of a PITA than you want to take on.

I know.    I'm hoping FBC isn't posting updates because he actually finished it in a weekend and is having so much fun driving it he hasn't had time to post.

Elise's are $30k and fragile. Exocets are cheaper and likely more fun.

Finding a completed one by someone as detail oriented as FBC would be perfect.  Ideally he comes on here, says it's finished, but he needs to make room for the next project and sells it to me

This thread is so sad.  This is the project that finally broke FBC.  He has a twin turbo 300ZX, but this is somehow even worse to work on.

A number of the kit mfrs will sell you a turn key.  Find one somebody bought as a turnkey.

That's a good idea, but we only have a 3 week window to get it done before the glaciers close off all of the travel routes.
