Anyone else really impressed with the IS-F's speed in the latest R&T?

I was reading the data section and the IS-F's graph and numbers really shocked me.  The car with the worst power to weight ratio was only a bit behind the much more powerful Merc and far ahead of the M3 and RS4.  I guess it's a combination of 8 gears and probably a slightly underrated engine.

I'm not so much impressed as encouraged - the next IS-F will undoubtedly seek out higher targets and benchmarks, which can only improve the breed even further.

Its not a shitty subcompact car, in which he can make up bullshit observation, and come to ludicrous conclusions (ie: I think the 9-3 is a better car than the GT-R. Its Torque steer provides character)
