The 02-06 was the only generation Camry my family's never owned, except the initial 83-86 one. I have driven an '03 though, and it was too overly floaty. The '07 is a bit "tighter" feeling, and it doesn't feel as tall as the last one.

:ohyeah:

You should have asked your dad for an Infiniti G35.

So Treppy here claimed he had a V6 at first eh?

Dude, we're not going to think you're a girl for driving a 4-cylinder Camry. Doesn't the 4-cylinder like get better mileage anyway?

I can sort of understand you. People here like power and a 4-cylinder Camry does sound a little embarrassing. Glad you came out with the truth though. Now God will allow you into heaven.

I would denigrate Trep more for having a V6. He's been pulling out his pockets paying for gas. Getting another fuel-sucking brand new V6 would be moronic. The Camry and Accord have wonderful four-cylinder engines that are sprightly and efficient. I wouldn't rip on that.

Although I don't know what the MPG is for an engine that doesn't exist.

Power is great where it makes sense. It doesn't make sense in an appliance, especially when the I4 alternative is no slouch.

I personally have nothing against 4-cylinders. And I would be proud of my car even if it was a 3-cylinder.   :praise:

The G35, like the Camry 4-cylinder, is Japanese and doesn't have as much "soul" as my pure-bred German racing machine.

It's a matter of integrity. After the Touareg incident, I haven't been able to lie without being overcome with guilt. Even slight exaggerations like this, I tend to crack under my own guilt and somehow admit it, even if its' the next day.

If AKL hadn't questioned it, I'd have said it eventually.

Most likely, they're inaccurate. But even if they aren't, the Toyota site says they don't sell V6s without alloy wheels in Canada.
